In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in connecting architects, contractors, and builders with our innovative and high-quality exterior metal panel solutions. You’ll gain valuable experience in the construction industry, develop strong sales skills, and contribute to the growth of a thriving company.



The Outside Sales Account Manager is entrusted with the responsibility of driving the sales of our company’s products within a specified region. They are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external customers to generate sales revenue. This individual will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, cultivating both new and existing customer connections, and achieving or surpassing sales targets. The Outside Sales Account Manager represents the company’s products or services in the field and serves as a primary point of contact for customers.



1. Customer Relationship Management:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and personalized service.

· Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.

· Develop a deep understanding of customers’ business needs and objectives.

2. New Business Development:

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and referrals.

· Develop and maintain strong business relations with customers, including Roofers, General Contractors, Architects, and other key stakeholders.

· Conduct research to understand market trends, competitor activities, and potential client segments.

· Present company products or services to potential customers and articulate their value propositions effectively.

3. Sales Strategy and Planning:

· Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.

· Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and sales team to tailor solutions to customer needs.

· Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement.

· Establish and adjust selling prices based on cost analysis, competitive factors, and market indicators.

4. Proposal and Contract Management:

· Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and presentations to customers, highlighting the benefits of company offerings.

· Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, pricing, and payment terms with customers.

· Guarantee the prompt and precise execution and documentation of quotes, contracts, and proposals.

5. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

· Forecast sales targets and track progress towards achieving sales goals.

· Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management, providing insights into sales performance and market trends.

6. Customer Service and Support:

· Execute Quotes, Calling, Visiting, Confirming, and administering product orders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

· Create opportunities for on-site visits to customers, prospects facilities for accurate quoting on customer requirements.

· Address customer’s inquiries, issues, and concerns promptly and professionally.

· Liaise with internal teams to resolve customer problems and ensure customer satisfaction.



· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.

· 2+ years of experience in Metal Roofing and Metal Building sales.

· Proven experience in outside sales, account management, or business development.

· Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.

· Ability to travel.

· Bilingual English Spanish is a plus.



· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.

· Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, HubSpot, TEAMS.


Working Conditions

· Field-based role, requiring travel to client sites and meetings.

· Flexible schedule, with occasional evening or weekend work required.

· May involve working in various weather conditions and environments.
